This cocobolo and red spruce OM is on consignment from a customer who's just commissioned his third Skipper guitar. The cocobolo has softened from its original red glare to a mellow red-brown that perfectly complements the curly maple binding. The top is accented with abalone purfling and rosette and black pickguard. The neck is a modified vee, 1-3/4" at the nut. Ebony headstock overlay, fretboard, and pyramid bridge. 25.34" scale length. Custom abalone torch inlay. Bone nut and saddle. Hardshell case. This is a great sounding, great looking instrument that's been played a lot by a talented musician, but it's in great shape, with only very minor playing wear. It's also equipped with a L.R.Baggs M80 pickup. Hardshell case.
